Butterflies

The best way to spend hot summer day is to be outside in the shadow
of greens. This time I took a picture of butterflies...

Birds

It is hot, hot summer here in Slovenia. Do not forget about  our
little friends birds. They are thirsty too! Shallow pots with water
placed in the garden or terrace will make them happy :)

Teapot

Teapots have been allways my favorite pots. I admire japanese
potters and one of them is Ken Nagai. I love the earthy structure
and the design of his teapots.

Zhou Gui Zen is a great master of making teapots as well. You can
see her way of making them right here.

I have designed my teapot to be used in a different way. It's not
a surprise, that it is connected with plants :)

Historial

For one day a year, my home town goes back to the past in the
medieval time.The old town pavement is threaded again by
renaissance dance, traditional arts and crafts are presented,
the air is filled with smell of ancient dishes and the medieval music
brings back the authentic atmosphere.

Before - After

I took a picture of my sphere garden before one month, after a long
and cold winter, and that's how it looks now in the spring time.
Look how many jungsters the sempervivums have.
That's why they're also called Hens&Chicks.

Spheres in terracotta

Some spheres in terracotta clay. More earthy than the white ones.

Little spheres

Little spheres are filling up my days. Little planets become alive,
when they are planted with succulents.

Spring is in the air

Spring air has a special smell, mild and soft one. And this scent has
inspired me in creating my blue colection. Tulips are my favorite spring
flovers and it won't take much time and they will burst out in my garden.

Cats made by my tutorial

I was surprised today. My blogfriend Acacia from Brasil is

a ceramic artist. She liked my  cat tutorial and she decided

to make two cats on her own. Every artist gives it's own touch

to the object. Aren't they special?

Inuit village

Our imagination flew and we moved up to the North with little Inuit boy and his dog.

My little friends made a village out of white clay and toothpics. Oh, how the time fly

fast :)

Ice skating

This Sunday was perfect for ice skating. The Cerknica Lake was
shining in the winter sun. It was not cold and windy - as I said -
just perfect!
